The humid subtropical climate in Downtown Naples keeps pools running hard nearly all year. Summers here on the Gulf Coast of Southwest Florida bring heat, heavy humidity, and frequent afternoon thunderstorms that dump rain into your water and throw off the chemistry overnight. And because this stretch of Collier County sits in a hurricane-prone zone with peak risk in late summer and fall, a pool near Naples Bay or the Gordon River needs steady attention that a once-in-a-while cleaning simply cannot match.
That is where Jeff Wilson Pool Service comes in. We have cared for pools in Naples and Bonita Springs since 1985, and you can reach us at (239) 448-4988. We are licensed and insured, and our in-house team handles cleaning, repairs, and full backyard renovations without subcontracting the work out to anyone else.
Pool Renovations in Downtown Naples
Old Naples, the historic neighborhood near the downtown core and the Gulf beaches, is densely built up rather than rural. Many of the homes here have pools that were built years ago and are ready for an update. And a renovation is where our range of experience really shows.
We are a State Certified Pool Contractor and a State Certified General Contractor, which means we can handle the pool and the surrounding hardscape as one project. New surfaces, updated decking, replaced tile, and modern equipment can bring an aging pool up to date without you juggling multiple companies.
The good news is that everything stays with our own crew. When you have one team responsible for the whole renovation, the schedule holds together better and the details do not fall through the cracks between trades.
Full Pool Service for Every Property
Renovations are only part of what we do. Whether your home is a short walk from Fifth Avenue South or closer to Tin City along the Gordon River, we cover the full range of pool care that a Downtown Naples property needs.
Here is what we handle for homeowners and businesses across the area:
- Pool Cleaning and Maintenance
- Pool Repairs
- Pool Renovations
- Commercial Pool Services
- Pool Start-Up Service
Cleaning and Maintenance
The reality is that a pool in this climate does not wait for you. Rain from those summer storms dilutes chemicals and pushes debris into the water, and the near year-round warmth keeps algae ready to bloom. Regular cleaning and maintenance keeps the balance steady so you can enjoy the pool instead of fighting it.
Repairs
Pumps, filters, heaters, and plumbing all wear over time. But you do not have to guess what is wrong. Our team diagnoses the problem and fixes it, and because we are certified across pool and general contracting work, we can address issues that go beyond the surface.
Commercial Pool Services
Downtown Naples is a busy area, with visitors drawn to spots like the Naples Pier and the shopping and dining along Third Street South. Properties that serve those crowds need pools that stay compliant and dependable. We provide commercial pool services built around that steady demand.
Pool Start-Up Service
A new plaster or resurfaced pool needs careful attention during its first days of operation. Our pool start-up service manages that early chemistry and equipment check so the finish cures properly and the water is set up right from the beginning.
The Jeff Wilson Pool Service Difference in Downtown Naples
Plenty of companies will send someone out with a net and a bucket of chemicals. But that is not the same as having a certified contractor who has worked this coastline for decades.
Here is what sets us apart:
- Serving the area since 1985, with deep experience in local conditions
- Licensed and insured for your protection
- State Certified Pool Contractor #CPC1458169
- State Certified General Contractor #CGC1514135
- Liquid Petroleum Gas License #28904
- An in-house team that never subcontracts the work
The catch with many outfits is that the person who quotes the job is not the person who does it, and the crew that shows up is a rotating cast of subcontractors. Even better than a low bid is knowing exactly who is responsible for your pool. With us, that responsibility stays under one roof.
Being both a certified pool contractor and a general contractor matters more than it sounds. When a repair turns into a deck issue, or a renovation touches the surrounding structure, we do not have to hand you off. We handle it. And that saves you time, coordination, and the headache of managing several companies at once.
The flat, low-lying terrain typical of coastal Southwest Florida creates its own drainage and grading challenges around pools, and our years working from Fort Myers to the north down toward Marco Island to the south mean we have seen how these properties behave. That local knowledge shows up in the quality and durability of the work we deliver.
When We Are Available
We are open Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. And whether you live off U.S. 41 in the heart of downtown or in a quieter corner of Old Naples, we serve homes throughout Downtown Naples and the surrounding ZIP 34102 area, along with Port Royal, Aqualane Shores, and communities across Collier and Lee Counties.
Frequently Asked Questions
A few things people in Downtown Naples want to know before they call.
Do you handle both the pool and the surrounding renovation work?
Yes. We are a State Certified Pool Contractor and a State Certified General Contractor, so our in-house team can manage the pool and the surrounding backyard renovation together without bringing in outside crews.
How often should my pool be serviced in this climate?
Given the hot, humid, rainy summers and warm conditions most of the year, regular maintenance is the smart approach. Frequent afternoon storms in the wet season change your water chemistry quickly, so steady care keeps problems from building up.
What areas do you cover?
We serve Downtown Naples and the 34102 area, plus Old Naples, Port Royal, Aqualane Shores, and communities throughout Collier and Lee Counties, including Bonita Springs.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We are fully licensed and insured, and we have carried that responsibility since we started serving the area in 1985.
