About Us
Jeff Wilson Pool Service Established
After working with a local pool service company since the age of 17, Jeff decides it is time for a change. With the encouragement and support of family and mentors, Jeff and his wife, Lis, open the doors of Jeff Wilson Pool Service, Inc. in October 1985. Jeff performs all pool maintenance and repairs while Lis handles the office duties from a tiny desk in the corner of their living room. At this same time and in the other areas of their house, Lis and Jeff are raising two small children; Casey and Emily. JWPS is a family affair from the very beginning!
JWPS Headquarters Built
JWPS outgrows the home office and the rented warehouse space. Along with 15 employees, the business moves to our newly constructed office and warehouse facility on Jaeger Road. With steady growth and our focus on “quality over quantity”, JWPS is firmly established as one of the top service companies in the Naples area.
Jaeger Road Facility Expands
The early 2000’s is a busy time for the Wilson family. Our facility size doubles to accommodate the company’s growth. In 2005, Casey graduates from the M. E. Rinker School of Building Construction at the University of Florida with a BS in Building Construction. Emily’s college years culminate in a BS in Resort and Hospitality Management from FGCU in 2007. While neither has the family business in their long-range plans, it is a natural progression and in 2007 and 2008 Casey and Emily joined JWPS, respectively.
JWPS Celebrates 30 Years in Business
With 30 years of servicing Collier and Lee county swimming pools, we now have a fleet of over 35 vehicles and 40 employees. We strive to stay ahead of the curve with continuing education, updated technology and assembling the best team of employees in Naples. Our motto continues to be “Good Business is Built on Great Service”. Along with maintenance and repairs, the pool renovation side of our business continues to grow exponentially.
The JWPS Family Continues to Grow
The last few years at JWPS has seen a strong consolidation of our customer service and employee management teams. Adding multiple management and technician positions has enabled us to provide the best service to our valued customers. We have a dedicated and professional staff of 70+ employees with combined experience of over 300 years in the pool industry! While our numbers have increased in the last few years, we continue to strive for personalized and top-quality service to each customer.
The Wilson family is growing as well! Casey and his wife, Francesca, have two young sons; Calvin and JB. The boys love to visit JWPS headquarters and watch their dad and granddad work. An occasional ride on the forklift make the visits even more fun! Emily and her husband, Chris, are proud parents to daughters; Addison and Brooklyn.
Jeff continues to work with a focus on supervision of pool renovation work. Lis still works in the office part-time; however, spending time with their grandchildren is now a priority and a joy for both Jeff and Lis.
JWPS is always looking ahead. The pool industry is changing rapidly with the evolution of smart home technology and more complex and intricate equipment configurations. We will continue to be on the cutting edge of our industry to provide excellent service to our customers and we look forward to the next 30+ years of business in the Naples area!
2nd Annual Employee Appreciation Party
The team we have put together at JWPS is one we are very proud of and like to celebrate! Our annual employee appreciation party is a great way to bring everyone together with their families to have some fun, and to commemorate all their hard work and dedication throughout the year.
On Saturday, December 2nd, 2023 – our entire staff was greeted to an extravaganza of a party at the Pavilion located inside Baker Park. What a beautiful day it was for games on the lawn, raffle prizes, delicious food, door prizes, and fun for all! We even had our very own, “DJ Brooklyn” – also known as Ernie Pisano, head of our maintenance department. Every employee was rewarded with raffle tickets earned throughout the year based on criteria such as: tenure, attendance, reviews, compliments from clients and co-workers, etc. Tickets were placed in designated slots for coveted items including, trip vouchers, cash cards, fishing charters, designer purses, concert tickets and more. The excitement was evident on everyone’s face as Casey and Emily called out the winners!
Our celebration ended with the final announcement of our peer voted, Employee of the Quarter – Kerby Henry, maintenance supervisor, way to go Kerby! Other 2023 recipients were: Andy Quintana, maintenance trainer; Ernie Pisano, maintenance supervisor; Bobby Gray, maintenance technician.
Celebrating the fruits of our labors, celebrating each other and being together with our families by our side was amazing. We do well to remember that we have so much to be thankful for and that we couldn’t be The Best in Naples without each member of our team!
